Expand and renovate Minnesota Public Radio's existing facility.  Creating expanded studio space, public forum space and redundant mechanical / electrical systems for "on air."

Maintain "on air" requirements throughout construction.  Manage unique technology needs within the budget.  Manage construction of new building addition while occupying existing building.

Nelson, Tietz & Hoye immersed itself in the operations of Minnesota Public Radio to provide guidance on issues as varied as plan review with the City and regulators, restoration of an adjacent historic church's exterior and stain glass windows, closing a street, relocation of utilities and relocation of studios without interruptions to broadcasts.
