Challenges:
Existing facilities were inflexible, cramped and had severe indoor air quality and environmental issues. Children's Home Society & Family Services desired to maintain its historic presence in the area while dealing with a contaminated urban site. A capital campaign was needed to provide funding for any new facilities.

Nelson, Tietz & Hoye managed the construction of a new 46,000 sf family friendly facility and renovation of a 20,000 sf existing facility.
