OUR PEOPLE

At Nelson, Tietz & Hoye, each of us works primarily in one of two service areas: real estate and project management. We are proud of our ability to provide any combination of these services. Often clients will need us to help with every phase, including real estate and project management. Other clients may utilize these services independent of each other.


Real Estate Services

RUSS NELSON
Principal/President

Russ has over 20 years of experience providing expanded corporate real estate consulting services including strategic planning feasibility analysis, lease negotiations and property acquisition and disposition services. Prior to founding Nelson, Tietz & Hoye in 1993, Russ was president of the first Twin Cities firm to exclusively represent the real estate needs of corporations.

TINA HOYE
Principal

Tina, with over 15 years of experience in corporate real estate, works with companies on strategic planning, site selection, lease negotiations, financial analysis and related services. Before founding Nelson, Tietz & Hoye in 1993, Tina worked with a Minneapolis-based corporate real estate service provider.

ANNA COSKRAN
Sr. Associate

Anna provides clients with comprehensive strategic planning, site selection, customized financial analyses, and lease negotiations. Prior to joining Nelson, Tietz & Hoye in 1998, Anna spent six years in Spain working for Boehringer Ingelheim Espana, a multinational pharmaceutical company.

LYNETTE DUMALAG
Real Estate Team Assistant

Lynette is the most recent addition to Nelson, Tietz & Hoye as the Real Estate Team Assistant. Her areas of client service include market research, lease review and financial analysis. She also maintains market databases and monitors client leases. Prior to working for Nelson, Tietz & Hoye, Lynette was a lab technician and also had a taste of residential real estate.

JOHN TIETZ
Principal

John has been involved in corporate real estate planning, design and construction for over 22 years. John focuses on project management and the delivery process. His work ranges from program evaluation, land use analysis, site selection, facility audits through traditional project implementation: evaluation of alternative project delivery strategies, design/construction team selection and management of the construction process. Prior to founding Nelson, Tietz & Hoye in 1993, John was principal of John C. Tietz Associates, established in 1981.

RENEE KIRSCHT RASCHER
Sr. Associate

Renee collaborates with clients, project consultants, contractors, developers and vendors to ensure that work progresses as planned. She handles client approvals of space plans and schematic drawings; supervises the review of proposals and construction plans; manages the approval of project costs; evaluates vendor bids and proposals; prepares and manages project schedules; and tracks job costs. Prior to joining Nelson, Tietz & Hoye in 1996, Renee worked as a construction estimator and design consultant in the Twin Cities.

PAUL JOHNSON
Sr. Associate

Paul assembles and leads teams of architects, engineers and consultants, and gathers essential information to help determine the long-term ramifications of different designs. He also handles client approvals of space plans and schematic drawings; supervises the review of proposals and construction plans; manages the approval of project costs; evaluates vendor bids and proposals; prepares and manages project schedules; and tracks job costs.

TERRY DUGAN
Director of Administration

Terry carries responsibility for many different areas at Nelson, Tietz & Hoye including marketing, human resources, information technology and accounting. When she isn’t helping to create marketing materials and presentations or overseeing personnel-related issues, she is managing the financial activities of the firm, including accounting, payroll and financial reporting. Prior to joining Nelson, Tietz & Hoye, Terry’s work experiences included accounting analyst and office manager/bookkeeper.

HEIDI SCHMIDT
Executive Office Assistant

Heidi ensures that our office runs smoothly, and helps create a range of materials from marketing presentations to contracts. She provides scheduling help, management of documents and files, and research assistance to both the Real Estate and Project Management service areas of Nelson, Tietz & Hoye.
